I’m a senior interesting in complexity theory and related fields, but especially interactive proof systems. I am currently working on streaming algorithms in an interactive proof systems setting. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions about complexity theory or TCS in general!

I’m a PhD student at Simon Fraser University studying computational complexity theory and logic. Previously, I was an undergraduate and master’s student at UMass where I helped start and run the Theory Club. I plan to continue contributing to the club remotely for a while.
Aaron Tian’s work centers on the design and analysis of fast, scalable algorithms for modern data science and machine learning. His current research is in randomized numerical linear algebra, where he studies efficient algorithms for large-scale matrix problems. He is currently pursuing a PhD at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
